Lorna Fencer Napurrula

Lorna’s strength as a woman of substance and her high ranking within her tribe is reflected in her paintings. She appeared to have no boundaries or fears because she had the confidence in herself and her history. The first time I saw one of her paintings I was fascinated with her use of colour and her layering technique. Her body of work is very significant as a guide to the younger emerging women artists.
