Rwetyepme

Rwetyepme is its Aboriginal name for Mount Sonder, which is part of the MacDonnell ranges west of Alice Springs in central Australia. Rwetyepme is of spiritual significance to the traditional owners, the Arrernte people. Mount Sonder was a favourite landscape depiction of Albert Namitjira, his fathers country lay towards Mount Sonder and Glen Helen.
