The bush leaf Dreaming refers to Abie's ancestral country - sand hills near Utopia in Central Australia, where the women gather leaves from particular plants which have medicinal properties.
The leaves are boiled, kangaroo resin added and mixed into a paste, which is used by Aboriginal people as a bush medicine to treat a variety of ailments.
