Illustrated symbols are:

  • The U shape represents a woman
  • The I shape represents a digging stick
  • The () shape represents a coolamon
  • The black symbol (right hand-side) represents the Tjungurrayi man with his spears, shield and boomerangs

The Dreamtime tells the story of the Tjungurrayi man secretly watching women's business. He is caught and struck over the head with a nulla-nulla ( tool used for fighting). It is at this place where he dies that a spring arises from the ground.
