This artwork refers to women's ceremony. With the use of Aboriginal iconography it depicts groups of women gathering around the ceremonial site (centre). During these significant ceremonies the women applied body paint designs/markings to their bodies, chant song lines and performed dance cycle. The Warlpiri women for their Cave Dreaming ceremony decorate the Nulla Nulla with paint and feathers.
