Illustrated on the left and right side of the painting using iconography are women (U shapes) sitting around the cave. The depiction in the centre represents the ceremonial site. The bottom left and right corners represent the women (U shape) applying body paint design. The Warlpiri women for their Cave Dreaming ceremony decorate the Nulla Nulla with paint and feathers.
(Nulla Nulla or hunting stick can be used as a digging tool, to dig up bush tuckers that are underground such as the bush potato).
