The artwork conveys significant sites such as sand hills, spinifex country, water soakages, claypans and salt lakes. These places carry deep spiritual meaning and are associated with Karntakurlangu Jukurrpa .

In the Dreamtime the Mina Mina ancestral women walked on foot across the significant site salt on Mina Mina shaped the landscape with digging sticks, performed ceremonies, which embraced many song lines and dance cycles.
