The painting coveys the movement of the Mina Mina Women Dreaming Ancestors walking, dancing, and singing as they journeyed across salt Lake Mackay, a significant site near Yuendumu regions of Central Australia. During their travels the Warlpiri women used digging sticks during their ceremonies and to gather Aboriginal food.
