The artwork conveys tracks of the Mina Mina ancestral women, as they walked on foot over sand hills (red dots), water soakages (blue dots) and claypans, significant in the area of Mina Mina aboriginal glossary button.

Throughout their journey the Mina Mina women used digging sticks to define the land, performed ceremonies, which embraced many song lines and dance cycles.
