The painting depicts the tracks of the Women Ancestors, as they danced and travelled over sand-hills (red dots) and claypans, significant in the area of Mina Mina, north-west of Yuendumu, Aboriginal Art Regions of Central Australia.

Illustrated in the painting (blue dots) is where the water table meets the surface, creating a soakage.
