The painting depicts the Wandjini couple, which were cloud and rain spirits during the Dreamtime creation.

Around the heads of the Wandjinas there appears to be lightning and feathers. The Wandjina is thought to have special powers and if offended, can cause flooding and intense lightning. They are found in many rock art sites in caves and rock shelters throughout the Kimberley.
