The painting depicts underground water soakages (white dots) along the Lander River system (fork) important to the Aboriginal people from Warntaparri country, in the Tanami Desert region of Central Australia.


Each roundel represents a significant sites, where ceremonies were performed, which included chanting, singing and dancing actions to invoke the Ancestral Beings to ensure rain.
