The artwork refers to kame, the seed of the Antwelarr. The Kame Dreamtime story is of significance to the artist and her family from Alhakere in central Australia.

Antwelarr is celebrated in their Awelye ceremonies. Certain song lines and dance cycles are performed to ensure its productivity as a food source. Homage is paid to the Kame ancestors.
