The painting depicts the Dreaming of the Napangardi and Napanangka, women as they travelled across the significant Mina Mina site, west of Yuendumu, Aboriginal Art Regions of Central Australia.

The women gathered Aboriginal food (bush tucker), collected Ngalyipi (snake vine) and performed ceremonies.

The snake vine is symbolic to the Warlpiri Aboriginal women. Ngalyipi has many uses including shoulder straps and ceremonial wrap.
