The prominent feature of this artwork is the magnificent mammoth rock formation Uluru (Ayers Rock). At the forefront is a Ghost Gum, a native tree found in central and northern areas of Australia. The Ghost Gum, (white) hence its given name by the local Aborigines and has significant 'Mythological" importance to the culture of the Aboriginal people.

Aboriginal people believe Uluru is hollow below the ground, which is inhabited by ancestral being, referring to Tjukurpa, the Dreamtime. Uluru is an important landmark significant to Aboriginal culture.
