Using Aboriginal iconography the painting depicts the Dreamtime story of the Possum, the journey path created by the possums tail, as it travelled from waterhole to waterhole.

- The E shapes represent the possum tracks
- The concentric circles represent the waterholes
- The lines represent the journey path
- The U shape (left side) represents the Japaljarri man with nulla nulla (throwing stick) and boomerang (no.7)
- The U shape (bottom) represents the Jungurrayi man with nulla nulla and boomerang
