With the use of bold lines this artwork represents Fire, which is symbolic to the Pintupi men from the Western desert. During men's business, it is a ritual to light a fire. During these significant ceremonies the men apply body markings from ochre; perform certain dance cycle and songlines, which are enshrined in the Tingari cycle.
