The design in this artwork represents rain filtering its way to a important soakage site of Ungama, in the Western Desert of central Australia. In the Dreamtime it is said the Tingari 
ancestors travelled to this site too perform ceremonies. These events included song lines and dance cycles, which are enshrined in the Tingari Cycle.
