Our Aboriginal Art

When I select a work, I follow my aesthetic instincts. I choose paintings that overwhelm me.
Often I am so attached to a work that when a painting leaves our gallery, I feel a sense of loss. The work is more than a canvas – it is also the artist, their spirit and their story and the relevance that the story has to their community. That travels with the painting.
