Christine Stewart is a NON-Indigenous Australian glass artist from the mid North Coast of New South Wales. She has been working with glass for over 20 years and draws inspiration from the beauty of the natural landscape that surround her home. She is well known for her eccentric use of colour, watery hues and the lush textures that capture the spirit of the Australian outback. Each piece is designed and kilnformed by Christine in her studio.
Christine is internationally recognised for her work in glass mosaics, hot masaics, glass fusing and her dichroic glass jewellery designs. She is the author of many art glass design books with CKE Publications. She travels annually to the USA as an educator teaching classes and workshops.
She has won multiple international awards for glass art design.
