Jean Hudson Nampijinpa inherited Warlu (Fire) Dreamings from her father, Ngapa (Water) from her grandfather and Kanmarra (Bush Onion) from her mother.
At first Jean produced art using traditional iconography, then her paintings took on a more impressionistic look.
