Central Art Abie Loy Competition Terms & Conditions of Entry
METHOD OF ENTRY
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
1. Entry is only open to all residents of all countries. Employees of Central Art and their immediate families are ineligible.
2. Entry is as advised in the conditions of entry for the relevant competition, and only during the period advertised as the promotional period for that competition (the Promotional Period)
- When entering a competition via the internet, entrants must enter their details as specified on the Central Art website at www.aboriginalartstore.com.au.
3. All correct and valid entries submitted during the specified Promotional Period, will be entered into the prize draw to win the nominated prize.
PRIZES
4. The prize is an artwork. The value of the prize will be as advised in the information on the relevant competition.
5. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
6. No responsibility or liability is accepted for any variation in the value of the prizes.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
7. All prize draws will take place at Central Art, 8 Red Sands Court Alice Springs. All winners will be notified by phone, email, and/or mail at the end of each competition conducted. All winners of prizes valued at over $100 will be posted on www.aboriginalartstore.com.au following each competition and in addition, will be published in The Alice Springs News within 30 days of the relevant prize draw.
2nd CHANCE DRAW
8. Where the major prize or minor prizes remain unclaimed three months after that draw, Central Art will conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary in order to distribute any of those prizes. In the event of any winners valued at over $100 in the unclaimed prize draw, their names will be published at www.aboriginalartstore.com.au and in The Alice Springs News within 30 days of the redraw of the relevant prize.
FINAL CONDITIONS
9. Entrants must be 18 years or older at time and date of competition closing. Any winner drawn who violates this condition will be immediately disqualified.
10. Central Art reserves the right to verify the validity of entries. Central Art reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
11. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into Central Art's database, and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant.
13. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned including infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Central Art which corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, Central Art reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, where required.
14. Central Art is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems of the phone or of any phone network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s phone related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this competition.
15. All entries will be the property of Central Art. The information entrants provide will be used by Central Art for the purpose of conducting this promotion. Central Art is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. Entrants can request access to the personal information Central Art holds about them by contacting Central Art on 8952 1711. Central Art’s privacy policy is available on the Central Art’s web site www.aboriginalartstore.com.au
