Central Art Website Launch Competition
For the launch of the new Central Art Aboriginal Art Store website, we are offering all of our existing Central Art Mailing List subscribers as well as any new members that join, the chance to win one of two magnificent Aboriginal paintings to the total value of AUD$8,000. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see these paintings
Entry is free and each painting has been selected by Sabine for its brilliance and outstanding quality. For Aboriginal art collectors, enthusiasts or first-time buyers, this competition encourages all Central Art website users to enter.

To join our mailing list, simply send an email from your inbox to aboriginalart-join@aboriginalartstore.com.au or fill in your name and email address in the text boxes below and click the 'Subscribe' button.
To enter, participants completed the following 4-steps.
- Step 1: Provide your Entry Details
- Step 2: Invite 2 friends to subscribe to the Central Art Mailing List. Both friends will then be sent an email inviting them to subscribe to the Central Art Mailing List and encouraged to enter the competition themselves which gives you a chance to win the minor prize
- Step 3: Answer three Simple Questions
- Step 4: Agree to the Terms & Conditions and click the Submit Button
If your form is submitted and both friends confirm their subscription by the competition closing date, your name will go into the draw to win the major prize. If one of your friends enters the competition and wins then you will win the minor prize, so refer as many people as possible to increase your chances of winning.
You may enter this competition as many times as you like, however each time 2 new friends must be subscribed for your entry to be valid.
The competition closed at 12pm Australian CST on Friday, 24 August 2007. The winners will be drawn at 7pm on Saturday, 25 August 2007. Winners will be notified by email within 72 hours. Please refer to the Competition Terms and Conditions for more information.
Major Prize: What can you Win?
Mountain Devil Lizard Dreaming by Kathleen Petyarre valued at AUD$5000
The major prize is the beautiful Mountain Devil Lizard Dreaming by the highly collectable Utopian artist Kathleen Petyarre valued at AUD$5000. Kathleen is the custodian of the Arnkerrth Dreaming which tells the story of the female ancestors as they traveled across the country pinpointing sites essential for survival, also conveying the tracks of the Thorny Devil Lizard. Remember, to win the major prize you must:
- be subscribed or have joined the Central Art Mailing List
- have successfully submitted the Competition Entry Form that includes inviting 2 friends to join the Central Art Mailing List via their email address and
- your 2 friends must have subscribed to the Central Art Mailing List by accepting your invitation and confirming their subscription
All of the above must be completed no later than midnight, Australian CST on 24 August 2007.
2nd Draw Minor Prize: What can you win by referring the winning entrant?
Yam Seed Dreaming by Jennifer Purvis Kngwarreye valued at AUD$3000
The minor prize is a beautiful multi dotted detailed work by Jennifer Purvis Kngwarreye, a descendant of the famous Emily Kame Kngwarreye and the youngest daughter of Greeny Purvis Petyarre from the Utopia region. I have chosen this work from Jennifer, as she is an emerging artist from this region. This work valued at $3000, depicts the seasonal movement of the Yam plant. Through the design the artist conveys the celebration of the yam spirit so that it regenerates year after year to feed the people. (dimensions: 124cm x 90cm)

Remember, to win the 2nd Draw minor prize you must:
- have successfully subscribed to the Central Art Mailing List
- have successfully completed a valid entry into the major prize draw
- have referred the winning entrant for the major prize draw
