The painting depicts rock pools, water holes and ceremonial sites associated with the artists country, Kungkiyunti (Browns Bore) west of Haasts Bluff, Aboriginal Art Regions of Central Australia.

The Pintupi women gathered bush tucker and performed ceremonies, as they walked vast tracts of land.
