Women's Body Painting by Nora Long Napananga

The painting depicts Yawulyu aboriginal dictionary button. The Warlpiri women from central Australia anoint their upper body with oil before applying ochre designs, in preparation for their traditional ceremonies. During Yawulyu the women will perform dance cycles and song lines.
