This artwork depicts a topographical view of the artists traditional lands at Nyrripi, a small Aboriginal community about 120 km to the south west of Yuendumu community and 400 km north west of Alice Springs in Central Australia.

Country is often referred to by the artist as sand hill lands, where aboriginal women perform their ceremonies.
