Bush Honey by Trephina Sultan Thanguwa

The painting depicts the pattern of bush honey on the ground, as it drips from the Desert Oak tree. Desert Oak trees are found in the arid desert regions around Central Australia.


Bush honey is a delicacy and a food source amongst Aboriginal people. Aboriginal people call the Desert Oak - Kurrkara.
