Assurance and Warranty


Central Art - Aboriginal Art Store specialises in certified Aboriginal artworks. All Aboriginal artworks are purchased directly from our local Aboriginal artists and are accompanied by a unique Certificate of Authenticity.


Insurance and Delivery


All paintings are packed to a high standard and are sent with TNT overnight Express service or Australia Post Express (small paintings or paintings under $500) within Australia. For overseas purchases the artworks are sent with TNT Global Express. Artworks bought from the website for delivery within Australia and overseas will be delivered free of charge. Insurance is optional, however highly recommended.


Please make sure the delivery address you nominate or a representative will be available to accept the parcel and sign for the package. Otherwise you will be left a calling card informing you how to collect your package. Please note we do not deliver to a Post Office Box. If you receive any damaged goods please contact us immediately to arrange for a refund. Any paintings returned to us damaged will require a restoration fee.


Delivery Process


When we receive your order we will reply by email within 12 hours to confirm your purchase order has been processed. If you are sending a cheque or money order we will contact you once it has been cleared by our bank. Your painting will be send immediately with TNT overnight service within Australia or Global express service for overseas buyers.


Delivery within Australia


All paintings are sent through TNT Express a leading provider of express delivery services. TNT provides on-demand, time-definite and day-certain delivery of documents, parcels and freight.
As a client of this company we are provided with tracking numbers which enable us to track the journey of the painting to your door. You can also use this service to track your parcel by logging onto www.tnt.com.au and entering the consignment number provided to you by us. For artworks being delivered within Australia you will receive your door to door delivery within 24 hours of purchase. The freight charges are complimentary; insurance is optional, however highly recommended.


Delivery International


We will freight the un-stretched artwork to anywhere in the world. All International orders are sent through TNT Global Express a leading provider of express delivery services. TNT provides on-demand, time-definite and day-certain delivery of documents, parcels and freight.


As a client of this company we are provided with tracking numbers which enable us to track the journey of the painting to your door. You may also use this service by logging onto www.tnt.com.au and entering the consignment number that has been provided to you by Central Art - Aboriginal Art Store. The painting is delivered to your door within 10 to 14 days. The freight charges are complimary. Insurance is optional, however highly recommended.


Packaging


Each painting will be individually wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap inserted into cylinders with the accompanying documentation.


Delivery Address


Please make sure the delivery address you nominate or a representative will be available to accept and sign for the package. Otherwise you will be left a calling card to advise you on how to collect your package. Please note we do not deliver to a Post Office Box.


If there is any problem with the artwork when you receive it please contact us at Central Art - Aboriginal Art Store by email, fax or phone immediately we will then take the necessary action to rectify the problem.


Free Delivery


Central Art - Aboriginal Art Store will send your un-stretched painting to anywhere in the world free of charge. We offer insurance, but it is optional, however highly recommended.


Duties & Taxes


All artwork prices listed by Central Art - Aboriginal Art Store are GST exclusive. Purchases delivered within Australia are subject to the Australian GST (Goods and Service Tax). International buyers are exempt from the Australian GST. If other duties and/or taxes apply specific to the overseas destination then the buyer is liable for these charges. These charges are non-refundable on return of goods to us.


Currency


Our prices are in Australian Dollars AUD $AUD.

Our Guarantee, Central Art Provenance and Authenticity


We guarantee all artworks shown on our website are authentic with provenance assured. Our provenance is considered highly in the industry and is required by art auction houses and for collector’s resale. We supply signed and dated Authenticity Certificates and fully detailed profiles on the artists.


Return of Goods and Refunds


When purchasing artworks via our website it is important to us that you are completely satisfied.


We understand that buying over the internet without physically viewing the painting can be a little daunting. We would like to reassure you that it is important to us that you enjoy purchasing paintings from our website. We guarantee that we will fully refund the cost of the artwork if you and are not happy. You must notify us within 24 hours of receiving your purchase if you intend to return the painting; you need only to pay for the cost of the return freight. We do however advise on using our courier with discounted rates. The painting must be received by us in its original conditions with its accompanying documentation for the guarantee to apply.

Central Art endeavours to ensure that all artworks on the website are available as shown and are correctly priced. You may place an offer, however we do reserve the right to refuse any offer, but will contact you where any problem occurs and provide you with options. Your credit card will not be charged until price and conditions are suitable to both parties.
