Last week Central Art released an exciting series of paintings by Julianne Turner Nungarrayi:

Julianne Turner Nungarrayi was born in 1975 at Mount Allen, Yuendumu. She was influenced and taught to paint by her mother Maureen Hudson Nampijinpa, a well known and respected Warlpiri artist.

Julianne Turner Nungarrayi depicts Aboriginal iconography in her paintings. She lives in Adelaide, but visits her traditional homeland of Yuendumu in Central Australia on a regular basis.
