Women's Dreamingby Ada Napaljarri Andy
This painting titled Karnta Jukurrpa or Women's Dreaming depicts the Nakamarra and Napurrurla women hunting for bush foods. The owners of this story are the Nakamarra and Napurrurla women and the Jakamarra and Japurrurla men. Yumurrpa and Wapurtali are two Dreaming sites owned by these skin groups including the associated bush foods found in these areas. Yumurrpa is a major waterhole to the north-west of Yuendumu and a Yarl (Bush Potato) Dreaming site is found here. The area north of Wapurtali is a Wanakiji (Bush Tomato) Dreaming site.
