The artwork depicted on this silk print is titled Night Bird Dreaming. It tells the Dreaming of a sacred place on Warlpiri country called Janyinki. This is a consistent theme in Elsie's artworks and comes from her father's side. Janyinki is where traditional ceremonies are performed. Janyinki is also significant to Warlpiri custodians as a habitat for Jukurrpa creatures including the rare night parrot.
