ArtistJoylene Hayes comes from Ltyentye Apurte or Santa Teresa Community, just one hour from Alice Springs in Central Australia. Santa Teresa is well known for its unique style of painting, called “Keringke”. Joylene is a novice artist still experimenting with her style. Her paintings refer to the significant spiritual elements that connect Eastern Arrente culture and Santa Teresa. The appearance, shape, design and colours that Joylene’s paintings create a warmth which radiates from the canvas. ![]() |
