BiographyLynette Conway is an artist from Santa Teresa Community approximately 1 hour from Alice Springs in Central Australia. Lynette is a relatively new artist and her style is representative of the Keringke style which has been developed by the artists from Keringke Art Centre at Santa Teresa Community. This particular style has been developed over the last two decades and uses brightly coloured fine dot work to depict significant stories and places for Eastern Arrente people. Lynette uses pattern, colour, shape and design to depict her senses of country, culture and self. The shapes and designs features common themes similar to ancient rock art found throughout the traditional country of Ltyentye Apurte. |
