BiographyMargaret Nangala Gallagher was born in 1967 and comes from Yuendumu Community approximately 300km from Alice Springs in Central Australia. She is the daughter of Pauline Napangardi Gallagher, an artist for Warlukurlangu Artists. Once Margaret completed school she relocated to Nyirripi with her family. Margaret has been painting with Warlukurlangu Artists since 2007. Margaret enjoys painting with her mother as it is an opportunity to share Jukurrpa. Margaret paints Yankirri Jukurrpa (Emu Dreaming) which has been passed down to her from her father's side. |
