Biography
Marie Young Perrurle was born in 1962 and comes from the area around Yamba Station in Central Australia. She is an Eastern Arrente woman and one of an extremely talented group of siblings. All her siblings are artists in their own right, her brother, Johnny is a bush toy maker whilst her sisters Camilla and Leonie are painters.
Marie is a Keringke Arts artist and began painting with the company in 1995. Her artworks include various mediums including canvas, ceramic and even a mannequin. Marie's Dreamings are the Snake and Rain.
