Biography
Victor Ross Jupurrula was born c.1952 at Napanangkajarra a region of Yuendumu, Central Australia. Victor's Dreamings include Yarla (Big Yam) and Ngarlajiyi (Small Yam), Warna (Snake), Ngapa (Water), Karrku (the site of ochre mines at Mt. Stanley), Janganpa (Possum), Mukaki (Bush Plum, Karnta (Two Women) and Watijarra (Two Men). Victor Ross Jupurrula is married to Dadu Gorey Nungarrayi and both paint for Warlukurlangu art centre at Yuendumu.
